Cleanse Your Body, Reveal Your Soul is filled with actionable tidbits and micro-disciplines that you can use right away. It’s the story of how I traveled to Nagpur, India, to study a 5,000-year-old Ayurvedic panchakarma detoxification and rejuvenation therapy that change my life and has changed the lives of many of my patients in my work as an integrative psychiatrist.
Each tool taps into the Ayurvedic wisdom featured in my book. I encourage you to take a 10-day challenge to take steps to commit to one or two of the tools. You will be nicely surprised by how these simple tools can improve your sense of well-being.

Self-Care Micro-Discipline #1: The Gift of Time
Give time to yourself throughout the day. Be aware. Be still for short periods of time. Just for three minutes. Breathe into that space you just created. This increases the effectiveness of nurturing yourself. Be present in this moment now. Notice your surroundings. Lasting benefits are seeded in the daily rituals you offer to the body and mind. How do you nurture yourself daily?
Take this small step to commit. Begin a life-affirming habit on your journey toward healthier you.
